The Most Honest Review of Gardens by the Bay Christmas 2015

Gardens by the Bay is one project I was highly skeptical about. I certainly did not think that land scarce Singapore deserves a second Botanic Gardens, and Botanic Gardens itself was not attracting many large crowds. Yet, Gardens by the Bay has successfully branded itself as the go-to destination for themed festivities, and the 2015 Christmas Wonderland is no exception.

For the 2015 Christmas event, Gardens by the Bay has been transformed into a Nordic Village of the far North. There are multiple dining options, custom made rides and even an ice-skating rink! Yes, you heard right. There is an ice-skating rink. In fact, this event kind of reminds me of 春到河畔 (river Angbao) 10 years ago, when the focus was on the festive atmosphere and family activities.

Let us explore one of the most classic roller coasters in the world! Coney Island Cyclone at New York City! It has a top speed of 96 kph and...wait...no...NO... I am talking about a different Coney Island, and there are no cyclones there. Yup! I am talking about the new nature reserve in the North Eastern park of Singapore, one that is sure to be favourite of runners, nature lovers and bird spotters alike!

Norwegian Cruise Line is Coming to Singapore!

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is one of my favourite cruise lines. It offers many youth-friendly features like the largest Sports Zones at sea, excellent comedy clubs and game shows and even Single Studios for people who want to travel solo! Therefore, I am totally excited when I heard that Norwegian Cruise Line is coming to Singapore!

Riding Battlestar Galactica: CYLON for the very first time!

Brothers and sisters, let me begin by saying that I have never taken any upside down ride before. So, this post can be quite useful for those of you taking upside down roller coasters for the first time. For the rest of you, I will cover in detail the experience of Battlestar Galactica: Cylon, possibly the most intense ride at USS (some people, including at least one RWS staff tell me Human is scarier).

Hi guys, I stopped by again at USS a couple of days back, and guess what I saw? New York City is being transformed into a giant contaminated city with dead birds. Of course, RWS is never shy about the fact that all these are in preparation for Halloween Horror Nights 2015, one of the largest Halloween Events in Singapore!
