20th Century Fox Theme Park Construction Update 2017

It is now more than 3 years since closing of Resort World Genting's Outdoor Theme Park and announcement to build a new 20th Century Fox Theme Park. The opening date has been pushed back again and again, with the latest announcement last year saying that the park will open in early 2017. However, from what I saw at construction site, I honestly think that 20th Century Fox Theme Park will not open till at least 2018, or at the earliest, November 2017.

Battlestar Galactica is BACK with a Vengeance!

After completing 1 year and 10 months of National Service (ahem ahem), Battlestar Galactica is finally back on May 27 2015. The new version features 2 abreast seats which offers a greater sense of freedom and operates 2 trains per side. In the meantime, we can only hope that the other roller coasters in USS  (as well as our MRT lines) are exempted from National Breakdown Service.

Bungee Jump is Coming to Singapore!

I am not kidding you. From the end of 2015, a new attraction AJ Hackett will open near Underwater World, Sentosa. This towering attraction will feature several fear-of-heights attractions like Bungee Jumping and Giant Swing. This will certainly be great news if you are an adrenaline junkie short of cash, for you no longer have to spend $2000 and travel to New Zealand to experience this.

Singapore's 2nd Theme Park will be in Jurong?

I know, when it comes to Jurong, most of you are thinking High Speed Rail (HSR). However, the HSR is just one part of a huge development that will transform the district into a retail, commercial and entertainment hub. As our dear PM said, Jurong will be Singapore’s new CBD. And what better place to include Singapore’s next major attraction - Our Second Theme Park! As with all predictions posts, the contents here are all my prediction and there is no guarantee whether it will come true or not.
